Decision in Case Hermaja coming near future
Comission-General for Refugees and Stateless Persons of Belgium is going to take a decision in the case of Jussi Hermaja in the near future. CGRS has announced that the decision will be ready by the end of this week or in the beginning of next week. The decision handles about the accessibility of Mr hermaja's asylum application. Positive Decision is prerequisite for getting political asylum.
The Aliens Office took a negative stand for Hermajas application in October last year. The AO argued the decision referring to the contradictions in Hermaja's story during the hearings. According to Mr Hermaja, possible contradictions are caused by substandard interpreter who was pointed by the AO. Also Hermaja has criticized the AO of a purposeful way of handling his application and leaving the facts unchecked.
