Information

We have a large collection of magazines which deal with environmental, disarmament, human rights, social justice and other issues. The collection is ever growing, and soon we might have the largest collection of both Belgian and international alternative magazines so easily accessable to the Belgian public.
Next to all these magazines, we have a Collection of brochures dealing with sustainable energy and bio- ecological building. All these brochures (about: windpower, watersaving, solarpanels, compost, ...), you can take here for free. The number of brochures is still growing. Come and see!

Information Events

We organise information events on topical subjects to which anyone can participate free of charge.

Demonstration centre

The space often referred to as the restaurant is also a public space where thousands of people have touched the alternatives with their senses.
You can smell a space without smoke. You may smell the fragrance of plants or delicious vegetarian food.
You can taste the richness of organic food or drinks. We can not count the times people told us "the best I've tasted in years"
You can also touch or admire the pieces of art or functional objects made of post-industrial waste.
You can also see by the electricity saving sensor-light systems, rediscover the beauty of loam instead of unhealthy plasters.
While waiting for your organic food or having a drink you can read about the ecological choices we made and continue to make with the systematic use of natural products for insulation, paints, floors, etc. The conservation of resources (water, electricity, gas) receives lots of attention in our daily work.
